New rules to add to queue for council housing

New housing allocation rules being brought in by Arun District Council in August will mean that everyone has the right to apply for housing locally regardless of where they live.

The issue has already attracted complaints from the council's current tenants.

But Arun is also getting the power to totally exclude or reduce the priority for housing given to applicants and households whose unacceptable behaviour has made them unsuitable to be a council tenant.
