Piano from the Far East
THEY hail from China, Korea and Japan and each has a thriving solo career and is passionate about chamber music.
The Emperor Piano Trio are playing the Arensky Piano Trio Op.32 No.1 in d, Ravel's Piano Trio and Beethoven's Piano Trio Op.70 No.1 in D Ghost at the Old Market in Hove on February 17.
The players are Li-Wei, who has appeared at the BBC Proms and with the LPO at the Royal Festival Hall; So-Ock, who gave debut concerts with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Naomi, who has performed as soloist with the Osaka Symphony Orchestra.
The concert starts at 11am and tickets are 10 to 20, with concessions available.
