With Hollywood glitz and glamour, heaps of bawdy comedy and talent abound, the Lady Boys don't fail to impress.
Creative director Phillip Gandey spoke of the challenge of creating a new production each year, and said: “When we brought the Lady Boys of Bangkok to Britain for the first time people were attracted by the sheer novelty. Never before had a company of Lady Boys performed a show in the western world. Almost two decades on and the Lady Boys of Bangkok is still the only show of its kind this side of Bangkok. But it no longer relies simply on novelty – it is a fantastic, non-stop spectacular theatrical experience."
