Here are 18 of the big events planned in the area this summer, many of them annual favourites, some returning for a second time after a successful launch last year and some are brand new – and looking very exciting!
5. June

6. June
Littlehampton Armed Forces Day will take place on the Seafront Greens, Littlehampton, on Saturday, June 24, from 10.30am to 5pm. This will be a free action-packed day organised by Littlehampton Town Council to celebrate and honour those who serve and have served in the Armed Forces. 7. June
Worthing Armed Forces Day 2022 will be held on Saturday, June 24, at Steyne Gardens from 10am to 4.30pm to celebrate everything about our Armed Forces. Expect marching bands, military displays, military vehicles, military stalls, music and dance, plus local charity stands. Photo: S Robards
8. July
Worthing Pride will be held at Steyne Gardens on Friday, July 7, and Saturday, July 8. This event is for the whole community to celebrating diversity, equality and inclusivity.
