Chichester Christmas quiz set to raise money for St Wilfrid’s Hospice
A festive fundraising event is set to take place in Chichester this December, bringing the local community together for an evening of entertainment, with money raised going towards supporting St Wilfrid’s Hospice.
After raising £400 for St Wilfrid’s Hospice at his previous quiz night in June, Chichester quizmaster Ian Sewell is returning to The Ghost at the Feast with a festive fundraising event this December.
The Christmas Quiz, taking place on Tuesday, December 8, has already attracted more than 120 attendees, with all raffle proceeds going towards supporting the local hospice.
The event will be Ian’s second quiz at the venue, following a successful evening in June which attracted 86 people and raised £400 for St Wilfrid’s Hospice.
Ian said: “This is my second quiz at the Ghost at the Feast after my first one in June where 86 people attended. It was a very successful night which was a lot of fun and I raised £400.00 for St Wilfrid’s.
"I have been running quizzes in the local area for over 30 years, starting in The Fountain in 1994. I now run quizzes in The Hole in the Wall on Monday and Wednesday nights plus other quizzes in Bognor, Petersfield, Lyminster and Lee-on-Solent.
"I also run interactive quizzes at four local care homes in the area which the residents enjoy in a monthly basis.”
The evening will feature a Christmas-themed quiz, a music round, a True or False round, a Giant Pass the Parcel competition, a Christmas jumper competition, and a raffle.
