Illuminated tractor run around West Sussex villages returns for 2026 after success of extended route

Back by popular demand, the Arundel Illuminated Tractor Run has announced its return for 2026, after extending the route last year.

Decorated tractors draw a huge crowd as they tour villages around Arundel, raising money for charity.

The Arundel Illuminated Tractor Run was launched in 2024, with tractors travelling from Hiorne Tower in Arundel on a circular route through the town centre, Warningcamp, Wepham and Burpham.

The run returned for 2025 with an extended route that took it into Angmering, Rustington and Littlehampton for the first time, and there was a fantastic response all along the route.

In Rustington shopping centre, families gathered all along The Street to watch as more than 100 tractors and farm vehicles paraded past.

There was much excitement as the highly-decorated vehicles horns rang out and farmers waved to the passing crowds. There were even some sheep making the journey, alongside various Christmas-themed displays.

This year's run will take place on Sunday, December 20. With the permission of the Duke and Duchess of Norfolk, the run will be back at Hiorne Tower for the 5pm start before heading through Arundel, Warningcamp, Blakehurst, Patching, Angmering, Rustington, Littlehampton, Lyminster and Crossbush.

Money will be raised for Chestnut Tree House children's hospice and the Farming Community Network. There will be collection buckets in Arundel High Street, at The World's End pub in Patching, on Angmering Village Green and around Churchill Parade in Rustington.
