On Thursday, June 16, Petworth Town Crier, Nigel Flynn, at 12pm will be at the Market Square in the town centre to give the official reading before a rendition of ‘Sussex by the Sea’.

Sussex Day is celebrated on J un e 16, St Richard’s Day, each year to celebrate the rich heritage and culture of Sussex.

St Richard's Day is the feast day of St Richard of Chichester, Sussex's patron saint.
