Petworth set to celebrate Sussex Way
Petworth is set to celebrate Sussex Day with a reading from its Town Crier.
On Thursday, June 16, Petworth Town Crier, Nigel Flynn, at 12pm will be at the Market Square in the town centre to give the official reading before a rendition of ‘Sussex by the Sea’.
Sussex Day is celebrated on J un e 16, St Richard’s Day, each year to celebrate the rich heritage and culture of Sussex.
St Richard's Day is the feast day of St Richard of Chichester, Sussex's patron saint.
