Venetian magic on stage

Following the sell-out success earlier this year of Oklahoma!, Lewes Operatic Society turns to the topsy-turvy world of Gilbert and Sullivan for its next all-singing, all-dancing production.

The group is staging the enchanting comic operetta The Gondoliers, at Lewes Town Hall from Wednesday, October 3 to - Saturday, October 6.

The Gondoliers is a glorious fun-filled romp, with a twisted plot that all comes right in the end. This delightfully witty show is packed with glad-to-be-alive upbeat tunes (including Take a pair of sparkling eyes), first-rate principal performances and an exuberant Lewes chorus ... everything you need for a joyous evening's entertainment.
