WORLD RECORD BID: At Sussex garden centres

PEOPLE in Worthing are encouraged to help break a world record at the weekend. To celebrate National Tree Week, the campaign BBC Breathing Places has teamed up with Guinness World Records for Tree O'Clock - a nationwide challenge to plant a million trees within a single hour.

Pulborough Garden Centre, Findon Garden Centre and Ferring Garden Centre are the locations for green-fingered residents to take part.

Participants need to take a digital photo of themselves planting their sapling between 11am and noon on Saturday, December 5.
