Worthing children's parade
WORTHING middle schools are preparing to take part in a pilot scheme which could feature as a prominent annual event in the town's summer calendar.
Youngsters from Broadwater First and Middle, English Martyrs Primary, Ferring Primary, Thomas A' Becket Middle, Vale First and Middle and West Park First and Middle will take part in the first Worthing Children's Parade 2008 on Saturday, July 12.
The parade will begin at Splash Point, move along the seafront to West Buildings and cover the length of Montague Street, before returning via Warwick Street to Steyne Gardens, where a charity fair will take place in aid of The Smiles Foundation in Romania.
