New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Brighton and Hove’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

64 Degrees, at 53 Meeting House Lane, Brighton was handed a one-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 5.

And New Era, at 6b Queens Road, Brighton was also given a score of one on February 5.

It means that of Brighton and Hove's 819 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 602 (74%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
