A Wealden restaurant has been handed a new three-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Hays Cafe, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Unit 11, Diplocks Buildings, Diplocks Way, Hailsham was given the score after assessment on February 23, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Wealden's 233 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 157 (67%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
