Ark Alexandra rugby leaders take centre stage at Primary Rugby Festival

Ark Alexandra Academy’s Rugby Leaders demonstrated their leadership skills and commitment to the local community by supporting a Primary Rugby Festival hosted at the William Parker Campus in partnership with Hastings and Bexhill Rugby Club.

The students played an important role throughout the event, leading warm-up activities and officiating matches alongside students from Bexhill College. Their involvement helped ensure the festival ran smoothly while providing valuable support and encouragement to the younger players taking part.

The Rugby Leaders showed excellent organisation, responsibility and confidence, acting as positive role models and helping to create an enjoyable experience for the primary school pupils.

Their contribution was praised by the Rugby Coordinator, who commented: “The sports leaders were fantastic and great role models for the younger players. Thank you.”

The festival provided a valuable opportunity for Ark Alexandra students to put their leadership skills into practice, develop their confidence and contribute to sporting opportunities for younger members of the local community.

The Academy is incredibly proud of all the students who took part and represented the school so positively. Their efforts helped make the festival a great success.
