Ark Alexandra Year 10 Netball Team secure second place in area tournament

Ark Alexandra Academy’s Year 10 netball team delivered an impressive performance at the Area Netball Tournament last night, finishing runners-up after a series of competitive matches.

The girls made a fantastic start to the tournament, securing convincing victories against Battle Abbey, winning 9–4, and Robertsbridge, winning 8–3. These results earned them a place in the final match against Claverham, with first place at stake.

The team put up a determined fight in a closely contested match but were ultimately unable to overcome their opponents, finishing second overall.

There was also individual recognition for Amelia V, who was named Miss Dawkins’ Player of the Tournament. Her energy, determination and commitment throughout the competition stood out, giving 110% in every match.

The Academy is incredibly proud of the whole team for their hard work, teamwork and excellent achievement. Congratulations to all the players on a fantastic tournament!
