Durrington Festival 2026 set for a fantastic return on Saturday 27 June

Despite moving to a postponed date, organisers of Durrington Festival 2026 say this year's event is shaping up to be one of the strongest yet, with impressive support from local businesses, community groups and performers.
Taking place on Saturday 27 June 2026, the festival promises a full day of family entertainment, community spirit and live music, with organisers confirming that stall bookings remain exceptionally strong, carnival participation continues to grow, and the popular arena programme is completely full.
Visitors can enjoy a packed programme throughout the day before rounding off the festival with an exciting evening of live music.
Local school band Anemoia will take to the stage from 6:00pm until 6:45pm, showcasing the incredible talent of young local musicians and warming up the crowd ahead of the evening's headline performance.
From 7:00pm, popular Sussex band Vertical Rooster will headline the festival, bringing an energetic mix of favourites and crowd-pleasing hits to close the event in style.
Festival Director Jack Clements said: "Whilst postponing the festival wasn't a decision we wanted to make, the response from our community has been absolutely incredible. The support we've received from traders, performers, volunteers and residents has been overwhelming. It's fantastic to see such strong stall uptake, a vibrant carnival procession taking shape and a completely full arena programme. We're determined to make Saturday 27 June a day the whole community can be proud of."
Director of Operations Gemma Metcalfe added: "The positivity shown by everyone involved has been amazing. Every challenge has been met with people asking how they can help rather than stepping away. The event remains packed with activities from start to finish and we're excited to welcome everyone for what promises to be a brilliant celebration of our community. We'd encourage everyone to come along, support local organisations and enjoy everything Durrington Festival has to offer."
The festival will feature:
A full programme of arena entertainment.
A vibrant carnival procession.
A wide variety of community, charity and commercial stalls.
Children's activities and family entertainment.
Food and refreshments throughout the day.
Live music from Anemoia (6:00pm–6:45pm).
Headline performance by Vertical Rooster (from 7:00pm).
