Residents across Midhurst are being invited to discover more about Freemasonry as Midhurst Lodge prepares to open its doors to the local community.

The event, taking place at the Masonic Centre in Midhurst, aims to give visitors an opportunity to learn more about the traditions, charitable work and community support carried out by Freemasons both locally and across Sussex.
Guests will be able to tour the centre, meet members of the Lodge and ask questions in an informal and welcoming environment.

Martin Dexter, Secretary of Midhurst Lodge, said: “We are very much looking forward to opening the doors and welcoming anyone who has an interest in learning more about Freemasonry and how we support our local community in Midhurst.”
Freemasonry has a long history of charitable giving and community involvement, supporting local causes, charities and organisations through fundraising and volunteer work.
Organisers hope the open event will help dispel myths surrounding Freemasonry while encouraging conversation and engagement with the wider public.
Anyone interested in attending is encouraged to come along and find out more about the organisation, its values and the role it continues to play within the local community.
