Just A Minute: Each banknote contains a promise

Have you noticed that occasionally we receive a bank note with the picture of the King and not our late Queen. They are rare at the moment so look out for them.
Each note contains a promise, signed by the Governor of the Bank of England. A promise that lasts for ever!
Jesus spoke more about money (or similar) than any other subject ‘Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also’. Matthew 6 verse 21. Paul said ‘The love of money is the root of all evil’ – a text often misquoted. 1st Timothy 6 verse10.
Our notes are great works of art – have a look before you spend them – you will be surprised by what they reveal.
