Littlehampton Freemasons to open doors to public for Community Open Day

Residents curious about Freemasonry will have the chance to step inside the Littlehampton Masonic Hall next month as members of the Littlehampton Freemasons Lodge host a special public open day.

Taking place on Saturday, 6 June 2026, the event aims to give local people an opportunity to learn more about Freemasonry, meet Lodge members, and explore the historic building in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

Visitors will be invited to tour the Lodge room, enjoy refreshments, and chat informally with Freemasons about the organisation and its role within the community.

Organisers say the day is designed to answer some of the most common questions people have about Freemasonry, including what it involves, how members support charitable causes, and what inspires people to join.

The open day will also give attendees the chance to separate myth from reality, with Lodge members happy to discuss long-standing public curiosity surrounding the traditions and “secrets” often associated with Freemasonry.

Gentlemen, partners, families and members of the wider community are all welcome to attend, with tea and refreshments provided throughout the event.

The open day will be held at the Masonic Hall, Church Street, Littlehampton, BN17 5EN.

Doors will be open during the day for anyone wishing to drop in and find out more.
