It was Mark Twain who said in 1897 that "the report of my death was an exaggeration." Well the same can definitely be said of Motcombe Gardens Bowls Club.
With a fantastic history of great bowling and amazing hospitality stretching back 116 years, rumours of the death of a bowls club in the heart of the Old Town, Eastbourne are premature.
The club is bouncing back gathering new members and maintaining a green that most bowlers consider the best in Eastbourne. Added to this a stunning setting and a warm welcome to all new members allowing for a positive future ahead.
All bowlers are welcome with membership for this season still available. Please contact Club Captain John Burroughs on 07960455403.
