It is listed with a freehold guide price of £25,000-plus at the firm’s auction which ends on Thursday 7 May.

Senior Auction Appraiser Chris Milne said: “This is two freehold parcels of woodland extending to 2.30 hectares (5.68 acres) and 0.25 hectares (0.62 acres), which located in a rural location in the heart of Heathfield.

“I am expecting strong interest as the possibility of becoming a landowner, particularly of woodland, is hugely tempting for a great many people.”

Interested parties can view directly on site during daylight hours and the smaller of the plots can be located using the What3Words app: ///surnames.theme.providing.

Clive Emson Auctioneers holds auctions eight times a year offering specialist advice for auction purposes with offices in Essex, Kent, Sussex, Hampshire and the West Country, selling with skill, speed and efficiency.

Bidding for the current auction, the third one of 2026, goes live on Tuesday 5 May and concludes on Thursday 7 May.
