Stagecoach is looking back on a successful Goodwood Revival, where a fleet of vintage and modern buses helped transport thousands of visitors to the iconic motorsport event in September.

Across the three-day event, Stagecoach operated 17 buses, including 10 vintage vehicles and seven modern double-deckers, delivering approximately 15,000 passenger journeys.

The impressive heritage fleet included former Southdown 'Queen Mary' Leyland Titans, an iconic London Routemaster, a Bristol VR and a Leyland Tiger Cub coach, bringing an extra touch of nostalgia to an event famous for celebrating the golden age of motoring.
Working alongside modern Alexander Dennis Enviro400 double-deckers, the buses operated three shuttle routes connecting Chichester Railway Station, local campsites and key Goodwood locations with the event's dedicated bus terminus.

With services beginning as early as 5.30am and continuing late into the evening, the operation ensured visitors could travel conveniently throughout the weekend. At the busiest times, buses on the Chichester Railway Station route operated at least every 10 minutes.
The heritage fleet was a collaborative effort, with half of the vintage vehicles owned by Stagecoach and the remainder supplied by private owners, helping bring a fantastic collection of historic buses back onto Sussex roads.

Marc Reddy, Managing Director of Stagecoach South, said: "Goodwood Revival is always a fantastic event to be involved in, and it's brilliant to look back on what we achieved. Our vintage buses really add to the atmosphere, and it's great to see passengers enjoying a little piece of transport history.

"Delivering around 15,000 passenger journeys across the weekend is a fantastic achievement and a real credit to everyone involved. From our drivers and operational teams to the engineers and private owners who helped bring the heritage fleet together, it was a brilliant team effort."
