LIVE MUSIC: Hazel O’Connor and the Bluja Project in Shoreham

AWARD-WINNING singer-songwriter Hazel O’Connor is returning to Shoreham after a successful appearance last year.

Hazel O’Connor and the Bluja Project, including virtuoso saxophonist Clare Hirst, and pianist and vocalist Sarah Fisher, will perform at the Ropetackle Arts Centre, in Little High Street, Shoreham, on Friday, March 25.

Ropetackle spokesman Ben Parker said: “Hazel absolutely rocked Ropetackle last year with her Breaking Glass Live tour. We are extremely excited to have her back.”

Hazel O’Connor first hit the spotlight in the cult movie, Breaking Glass.

She will perform some of the film’s soundtrack songs during the concert, which starts at 8pm.

She and the Bluja Project recently launched their debut album after a series of sell-out shows in France and the UK.
