“This exclusive troupe threw themselves into the rehearsal process with amazing commitment,” she said. “They’ve loved mastering classic disco choreography, exploring the tough three part harmonies in classic disco hits, and working as a tight-knit ensemble. Their progress over the weeks has been phenomenal.

“For many of the students, performing at the Shaftesbury Theatre is a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Being chosen for this troupe alone is an achievement, but stepping onto a West End stage adds a level of excitement and pride that’s truly unforgettable.”

Preparing for this performance has helped the students strengthen their dance techniques, timing, stamina, harmonies, and overall musicality. They also developed a strong sense of professionalism, learning how to rehearse with focus, support one another and bring their characters to life with confidence and flair which will help them in all aspects of their life moving forward, on and off the stage.

All the teachers at Stagecoach Chichester had a special message for this inspirational group: “To our exclusive troupe: we are incredibly proud of you. Your dedication, teamwork, and enthusiasm shone through every moment of this piece. You enjoyed every second on that West End stage, you absolutely earned it.”

Stagecoach said it prides itself on offering such opportunities to its students across the country.
