Combining coffee, gaming and community, Comics, Games and Coffee Ltd has been crowned Medium Independent Business of the Year.

With shops in Chichester and Worthing, the business specialises in comic books, graphic novels, board games and trading card games.

Customers can browse the shelves, grab a drink and settle down at a table to read or play, while regular community gaming events bring enthusiasts together.

More than just a place to shop, the business has established itself as a welcoming hub for people to share their interests and meet like-minded players.

Juno, who joined Comics, Games and Coffee Ltd four years ago, said: “We try so much to push for diversity within Chichester, and want to create a safe space for anyone to come. To be able to have this up in the shop and say ‘here’s an award for the work we’re doing’ is just incredible.”
