Everything we now know about the new gym, activity venue and eateries set to open at Crawley Leisure Park
PureGym has revealed more details about its new location at Crawley Leisure Park – whilst signage has appeared for a dessert and brunch eatery.
The fitness chain has confirmed that its new Crawley venue will open at 12pm on Friday, September 18. It has pledged to ‘provide flexible, affordable fitness for members’ through ‘low-cost, no-contract memberships’.
The 13,402 square foot gym will offer 24/7 access to hundreds of pieces of equipment, including cardio equipment, fixed resistance machines and free weights, as well as a cycle studio and fitness classes. It will be based in the large building, formerly occupied by the Nuffield Health Fitness and Wellbeing Centre.
Facilities will include a cycle studio, free weights, fixed resistance machines and cardio equipment, while a range of fitness classes will also be included in membership prices.

Members will also be able to access support from certified personal trainers.
A spokesperson for PureGym said: “We’re so excited to bring PureGym to Crawley as part of our continued commitment to bringing flexible, high-value fitness facilities to more communities across the UK.
"Our focus is on making fitness accessible to everyone, helping more people get active, feel stronger, and support their overall wellbeing. With demand for affordable, high-quality fitness, at an all-time high, the new gym will give members around-the-clock access to top-quality equipment and a wide range of classes.
"We can’t wait to open our doors at PureGym Crawley Leisure Park soon – be sure to take advantage of our opening offer.”

The new gym marks ‘another step’ in PureGym’s ‘continued growth across the UK’, the company said.
It said it will offer members ‘access to everything they need to achieve their fitness goals’, and ‘enhance their health and wellbeing’. This includes 160 pieces of ‘state-of-the-art equipment’, with free parking also on offer.
The spokesperson added: “PureGym is always on the lookout for people who want to turn their passion for fitness into a career through the PureGym Personal Training Academy. Not only does this programme equip candidates to become certified PTs in just 14 weeks, it guarantees them a job at the end (subject to interview).
"The PT Academy also provides ongoing PT business support and opportunities for career progression into management roles. For more information about the PureGym Personal Training Course, visit our website.

“PureGym is committed to providing a safe place for everybody to work out and as part of our TrainSafe commitment we have installed automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in all our gyms.
"AEDs can be lifesaving in a critical situation, which is why we believe they are as essential as any other piece of equipment in the gym. PureGym is among four businesses set to open in one Crawley Leisure Park unit, with Heavenly Desserts this week confirmed to be joining Pizza Express and children's activity and party venue Oxygen Active Play.
Signs announcing the planned new arrivals have been displayed on fencing around the leisure park site.
Pizza Express – which closed its former High Street branch – previously said it was reviewing opening options in various locations.
Oxygen Activeplay confirmed in December that it was set to open a £2.5 million new branch at Crawley Leisure Park ‘in late 2026. And it’s set to create more than 50 new jobs in the town.
A spokesperson for the company said: “We’ll be investing over £2.5 million into the space to ensure it’s ready to host guests for lots of BIG-time fun.
“Thanks to the venue, we’ll be creating over 50 employment opportunities. We’re really looking forward to meeting local families and exploring a new community.”
Prospective customers have been promised a ‘heavenly experience’, at the new dessert parlour, which has teased a menu which will also include brunch and coffee.
The chain revealed the news in a newsletter promoting the new restaurant.
It states: “We are beyond excited to announce the opening of our very first location in Crawley.
“Get ready for a heavenly experience like never before. Your new favourite destination is coming soon.”
An opening date for the new venue has yet to be announced but it will be ‘soon’, according to a social media post.
