And it will be the third gym launched by former professional footballer George Branford and his partner Emily Riggs.
The couple founded the gym INTENT91 in Worthing in 2020 and are to open a branch in Portslade next week – and one in Horsham Road, Cowfold, in February or March next year.

The new Horsham site will be a bit of a home-from-home for the couple as Emily grew up in Southwater and George in Ashington.
George’s first career as a footballer started with the Youth Academy of Chelsea FC before he went on to play professionally for Portsmouth and it was there that he gained his personal training qualification.

He went on to work at the David Lloyd gym in Worthing and it was while there that he met Emily, a former Collyer’s student, who at the time had an office job in London.

It has since grown with nearly 200 members and the couple are determined to build on their success with their new ventures in Portslade and Horsham.
Miles said: “We know lots of people are very excited and happy that we've found a location in the area.”
