East Street’s Giraffe Restaurant to be replaced by Giggling Squid

Giraffe has closed and is set to be replaced by a Thai restaurant in East Street, Horsham.

The Giggling Squid, which has stores in Hove, Brighton and Crawley, has submitted an application to Horsham District Council for signage for the store.

Earlier this year the premises was advertised by Crickmay Chartered Surveyors with a listed initial rent of £55,000 per annum.

Giraffe opened the town centre restaurant in November 2011, but the chain has since been taken over by Tesco.]

Two doors down Nando’s are looking at opening a branch in part of the old Kings Head Hotel site next to Ask.
