Lindfield bonfire night 2026 temporarily delayed due to incident

Lindfield’s Bonfire Night celebrations were hit by brief delays this evening after the scheduled 7.30pm torchlit procession set off behind timetable.
The popular Mid Sussex bonfire in Lindfield was temporarily delayed according to attendees.
The torchlit procession started 35 minutes late due to a minor incident involving police.
Sussex Police have been contacted.
