Boxing exhibition at Sports CentreOpen Day in Rye

RYE Town Boxing Club is holding an inter-club sparring exhibition when Rye Sports Centre holds its Open Day on Sunday from 11am - 4pm.

There will be inter club sparring competitions by Rye Town Boxing Club and various other top clubs from across South England in the sports centre hall.

Carl Turner, from the Club, said: “This is a fantastic family day out with a massive variety of entertainment for people to enjoy.

Rye sports centre will be offering the free gym inductions, challenges and personal training tasters as well as swimming for just £1 and an inflatable pool session at £2 per session starting from 2.30pm.

Attractions include bouncy castles and slides, a Pillow Bash Activity Bouncer sumo suits and a penalty shoot-out competition.

There will be free taster sessions from Splitz Dance Academy plus a full display from 1pm to 1.30pm in the reception area.

There will also be a raffle.

Refreshments, including hot and cold drinks will be available and admission to the event is free.

Sports Centre membership will be on offer at heavily discounted prices on the day.
