Flossie has attracted ecstatic reviews and has wowed audiences with her pure and passionate voice ready laughter and franglais patter delivered in a unique and charming French-Geordie accent (she learnt her English in Darlington).

The church will be spectacularly illuminated inside for the concert by Rye Harbour-based youth charity Entertainment Workshops.

The concert is one of a series organised by Winchelsea Bonfire Boyes. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7:30pm. Tickets are £12 and can be bought from Grammar School Records in Rye, online at www.wegottickets.com/winchelsea or via e-mail on [email protected] or at the door.

The Bonfire Boyes are still trying to find a fire-site for this year’s celebrations after being forced off Rookery Field.
