Council approve museum plans
RYE Town Council’s planning committee voted unanimously in favour of plans for a new museum on the Ypres Castle site when they met on Monday evening.
Jo Kirkham, from Rye Museum, said: “There has been a lot of support for the plans. Sixty people came along to look at the plans last Tuesday and 80 people on Saturday.”
