A staff member at a supermarket in Littlehampton was left needing hospital treatment after being punched by an unknown man, according to police.

Officers said they are appealing for witnesses to an assault which happened outside Farmfoods in Wick Street between 6.45pm-7pm on Friday, May 20, while the victim was accepting a lorry’s delivery.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said, “He suffered injuries to his face requiring hospital treatment.”
