August 20:

Charlie Francis, 20, of Snow Hill, Crawley Down, Crawley, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Focus on Tilgate Road, Crawley, on December 31, last year, with cannabis in his blood stream. He was fined £300 and banned from driving for one year.

Adam Ridgley, 26, of Longford Road, Horsham, Pleaded guilty to driving a BMW vehicle on West parade, Horsham, on October 9, last year, with cocaine in his blood stream. He also pleaded guilty to being in possession of a quantity of cannabis on the same date. In addition he pleaded guilty to driving a BMW on Crawley Road, Horsham on June 23, with cocaine in his blood stream. He also pleaded guilty to driving with the controlled drug Benzoylecgonine in his blood stream on the same date. He was sentenced to four weeks in prison, suspended for four weeks and banned from driving for one year.

Joe Maynard, 34, of Brighton Road, Crawley, indicated a plea of guilty to assaulting a police officer. The offence took place at Burgess Hill on July 26. He pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour at Burgess Hill on the same date. The court made a community order.

Jessica-Lea Richardson, 32, of Middle Park Way, Havant, Hampshire, indicated a plea of stealing clothing, worth £532, from JD Sports at County Mall, Crawley, on July 28. The court made a community order.

Scott Hackett, 23, of Subrosa Drive, Merstham, Redhill, Surrey, pleaded guilty to driving a Honda motorcycle on Gatwick Road North, Crawley, on October 27, last year, without due care and attention. He also pleaded guilty to driving with no licence or insurance on the same date. He was fined £240 and his driving record endorsed with eight penalty points.

Nicolae Tintea, 29, of The Glade, Crawley, pleaded guilty to driving an Audi vehicle on the A23, at Haywards Heath, on October 15, last year, without due care and attention. He was fined £900 and his driving record endorsed with nine penalty points.

Aaron Ford, 32, of Colwell Gardens, Haywards Heath, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Astra on Ditchling High Street, Ditchling, on July 24, without due care and attention. He was fined £80 and his driving record endorsed with six penalty points.

August 28:

Daniel Rogers, 28, of Trinity Fields, Lower Beeding, Horsham, indicated a plea of guilty to stealing three coats, worth £399 from Mountain Warehouse, at Horsham, on November 28, last year. He also indicated guilty pleas to assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and to being in possession of herbal cannabis at Horsham on the same date. He was sentenced to ten weeks in prison and ordered to pay £100 in compensation. Magistrates said the reason for the custodial sentence was that it was aggravated by his previous record of offending.

Vexx Sneddon, 28, of Buckmans Road, Crawley, pleaded guilty to destroying a flat screen TV. The offence took place at Camborne, in Cornwall, on March 8. He also indicated a plea of guilty to being in possession of cannabis on the same date. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £800 in compensation.

September 1:

Chris Carlisle, 40, of Durfold Road, Horsham, pleaded guilty to driving an Audi vehicle on the A24 at Buckbarn, on February 2, with cannabis in his blood stream. He was fined £853 and banned from driving for one year.

Ashley Radmall, 33, of Imberhorne Lane, East Grinstead, indicated a plea of guilty to being in possession of an offensive weapon, an extended baton, in a public place, at London Road, Burgess Hill on July 31. He also indicated guilty pleas to being in possession of cocaine and cannabis at Burgess Hill, on the same date. The court made a community order with a requirement of 100 hours of unpaid work.

Amanda Bere, 48, of Sycamore Way, Hassocks, was found guilty of driving a Ford vehicle on Keymer Road, Hassocks, on November 7 last year, with no insurance, licence or MOT. She was fined £660 and her driving record endorsed with six penalty points. The verdict was proved in her absence.

Lorenzo Garcia, 54, of Single Street, Westerham, pleaded guilty to causing £4, 208 damage to a Lotus Elise vehicle. The offence took place at Crawley on April 30. The court made a community order with a requirement of 60 hours of unpaid work and ordered him to pay £1,050 in compensation.

Gintaras Janjauskas, 54, of Swift Lane, Crawley, indicated a plea of guilty to being the owner of a West Highland terrier, that was dangerously out of control at Swift Lane, Crawley, on March 26, and injured another person. The court made an order that unless the dog is kept under control, muzzled and castrated, and that any fencing at the property be secure and properly maintained, it must be destroyed. The owner was fined £323 and ordered to pay £100 in compensation.

September 2:

Charlotte Foote, 36, of Southgate, Crawley, pleaded guilty to stealing cosmetics worth £177 from Marks and Spencer, at Crawley on June 9. The court made a community order.

Clayton Garner, 20, of Henderson Road, Crawley, pleaded guilty to driving a Nissan vehicle dangerously at Horsham Road, Pelham Drive and Seaford Road, Crawley, dangerously on April 22. He also pleaded guilty to failing to stop for police and to driving with no licence or insurance on the same date. He was sentenced to eight weeks in prison, suspended for one year, and banned from driving for 18 months. The court made a community order.
