The police post said: “After receiving multiple reports of loud music, shouting and other anti-social behaviour in the Norman Road and London Road areas, a man has now been issued with a Community Protection Notice (CPN).

“There’s a difference between enjoying yourself and behaviour that repeatedly disrupts residents and local businesses.

“Breaching the CPN is an offence and may result in the matter being taken to court.

“This is a good example of why reporting ASB matters. Each report helps local officers understand the wider picture, gather evidence and take action where appropriate.”
