Durrington fisherman's body found

THE body of missing Durrington fisherman John Healey has been found close to the spot where his empty boat was discovered.

Littlehampton's RNLI lifeboat recovered Mr Healey's body after the crew of another boat saw him floating in the sea two nautical miles south of the resort.

His father, Patrick Healey, of Angmering, said the family was relieved that almost three weeks waiting for news of John, 46, was over, and they could now prepare for his funeral, which will be held at Worthing Crematorium on Tuesday, April 17 at 9.40am.

Mr Healey, of Cotswold Road, Durrington, leaves a widow, Betsy, and three sons.

He was reported missing on Saturday, March 17.
