Sospan Dau dredger begins shingle works in Eastbourne
The dredger Sospan Drau was seen beginning shingle works at the Sovereign Harbour on Sunday, November 1.
The Sospan Drau is a specialist dredger that carried out shingle replacement on the beach. Sospan Dau, one of the UK's largest trailing suction hopper dredgers, is taking part in the essential coastal protection works.
Members of the public are asked to navigate the area with caution and comply with any instructions issued by the harbour and vessel masters for the duration of the works.
