Graffiti attack tarnishes Littlehampton park

LITTLEHAMPTON’S award-winning Mewsbrook Park was attacked by vandals at the weekend.

Offensive graffiti, in bright red paint, was sprayed inside one of the art deco shelters.

Ann Buttle, chairman of the Mewsbrook Park Community Support Group, said: “There’s just a minority who ruin the park for everyone else.”

The graffiti has now been removed.

A £250 reward is being offered. For details see this week’s Gazette’s letters page (Thursday, October 10).
