CONCERT: A welcome return for Faronel in an evening of medieval music presented by Faronel tomorrow, Saturday, at 7.30pm at Herstmonceux Church. Â£10 includes wine and nibbles. Both concerts they have done before have been really good and different as they play the music on instruments of the period and they explain how they work. It is interesting.

PROMS IN THE PINETUM: This event is the first and opening event of the Hailsham Festival of Arts & Culture and is on Thursday 8th September at 7.30. It is an open air concert including all your prom favourites with Wealden Brass Band and the Pete Willson Quartet.

WALKING GROUP: If you would like to go along on Tuesday evening, meet at 6.30pm at Bopeep, Bostal Hill car park with Rosemary 842032 for a circular walk towards Alfriston.
