Seven teams were put under starters orders and they roared away at speed to the applause of a large crowd who had gathered to witness skills equal to some Formula One drivers.

After two hours of continuous driving, the winners trophy was presented by Lion President Rod Eldridge to Jazz Motorsport, who were sponsored by Woolwich Lions Club.

The Route 1066 Cafe came second, followed by Norfolk In Chance in third place.

The afternoon raised £500 for LIBRA. The organisers thanked all the team sponsors for their support.
