Cllr Jenkins said: “The title given for the new 2014 calendar, “Rye and Beyond” sums up through the photographs this glorious part of the country we are all privileged to live in.

“Well done to all those keen photographers who participated in the competition judged by Clive Sawyer, not forgetting all the sponsors who made the production of the calendar possible.”

Tourist Information Centre Manager Tracey Young said: “This is the third Rye Calendar that we have produced at the TIC and the standard of photography is improving every year, making Clive Sawyer’s task of judging the competition a difficult challenge.

“The calendar is not only a wonderful memento of a visitor’s stay in Rye, but also a fantastic advert for their friends and family to come and visit us in the future.”
