New-look store is out of this world for St Wilfrid's charity shop

A new look has given a Barnham charity shop the five-star treatment.

The stellar appeal of the improved St Wilfrid's Hospice outlet was proved when its opening was performed by internationally-renowned astronomer John Mason.

He took a break from lecturing and broadcasting to be the first to open the door to the shop in The Square.

The premises have been given new interior fixtures, lighting and signs to enhance the freshly-painted interior.

Store manager Margaret Dowling also had a glass of bubbly and some yummy treats for her most valued customers to complete the occasion.
