Dismay at conditions for renting a home in Eastbourne

I have been looking to rent a property in Eastbourne in the last month.

Quite frankly I am so annoyed and dismayed at the conditions attached to any poor soul trying to secure a roof over their head.

Just some of the demands for instance:

• No children

• No pets

• No benefits

• Professionals only

• No person under 25 years old

• No sharers

• No one to apply unless there earning over £36,000 per year ie £3,000 per month

Seriously, it’s disgusting.

If this is the future we have to look forward to, it is very depressing.
