Don’t let this road money be wasted
“ROADS Minister Mike Penning this week announced public consultation work will start on widening the route between Tonbridge and Pembury.” (Observer 11/05/12).
Let’s hope, once built, the investment isn’t wasted and the dual carriageway re-designated single as they have done in the section between Flimwell and the TJ motel.
On a road with few overtaking opportunities, for many miles, it is madness that this chance to get past slow moving vehicles was ever removed.
