Goodwood swings into action from dawn until dusk for bereaved children

Teeing off at 7.30am PGA Golf Professional and England Coach Ryan Fenwick will be giving golf lessons from Dawn until Dusk on Thursday 24th October 2013 to raise money for Winston’s Wish, the leading charity for bereaved children, at The Golf Academy, Park Course, Goodwood.

The lessons will be 50 minutes long and suitable for beginners, experienced golfers or anyone just wanting to get back into the swing of things! People are asked to make a donation of at least £30 or more to Winston’s Wish instead of paying for the lesson which would normally cost £50.

Ryan Fenwick Golf Pro at Goodwood explains why he has chosen to support Winston’s Wish: “Having children myself I can’t begin to imagine what bereaved young people have gone through in their lives, it is truly an honour to make a small contribution to the significant work that Winston’s Wish does.”

All proceeds from the day will go directly to help pay for much-needed services to support bereaved children and their families in West Sussex. Louise Brown, Fundraiser at Winston’s Wish says: “At Winston’s Wish we believe that the right support offered at the right time can make a life-changing difference to the lives of bereaved children, young people and their families. £50 could cover the cost of a 60 minute call to our National Helpline – providing invaluable advice and support to someone concerned about a bereaved child. We are eternally grateful to Ryan and the team at Goodwood for their wonderful support and we wish them every success with this special golfing day.”
