LETTER: A few fallen trees and some puddles
I am sure that you are sorry that the recent ‘big storm’ did not wreak more newsworthy havoc around the district, apart from a few fallen trees and an extra large puddle or two.
But may I congratulate you on trying to make it more so by publishing an additional five pages of pictures in your ‘Storm Picture Special’ – including one picture on page 90 which had already appeared on page four.
I personally found the picture of the ‘Fallen tree’ road sign most dramatic and congratulate the photographer on his artistry.
Why not print everything twice and then the paper would take half the time to read!
