Letter: Broadfield crossing petition
Please may I, through your newspaper, thank all of the residents who signed a petition for a crossing to be installed at Pelham Place, Broadfield.
Without their help, we would not have had the outcome we have achieved.
I would especially like to thank our councillor Mr Brian Quinn who I approached two years ago to try and get a safe place for everyone to be able to cross in safety to our local shopping centre. He has never stopped supporting me in this matter.
Also Louise Weekes for her help in obtaining signatures for the petition. For this I am very grateful.
