LETTER: Support for 999 response team
On Saturday 7th September Horsham Community Responders held a collection in Horsham which raised £342.96 for which we thank everyone who contributed.
We are a small local charity whose volunteers are trained by South East Coast Ambulance to respond to 999 calls in the local area. Whilst we were collecting it was heartening to meet some people who we have attended to in the past and hear how they are now getting on - something we would not normally know.
The money collected will be used to fund our monthly training sessions and buy kit for new volunteers. If you are interested in becoming a responder we are currently looking to recruit in the Slinfold, Mannings Heath and Warnham areas.
