This event was held in honour and celebration of the amazing work that these young people do for Winston’s Wish, by helping to raise awareness of Winston’s Wish and the services that it offers around the country.

The event, kindly hosted by Martin Horwood, MP for Cheltenham, was a huge success and the Young Ambassadors and their guests enjoyed a tour of the House of Commons and House of Lords before joining Winston’s Wish staff and prestigious guests in the Churchill Dining Room for a lunch reception.

Amongst the guests was Patrick Kielty, comedian, radio presenter and television personality who is viewed by the Winston’s Wish Young Ambassadors as a pure inspiration.

Other attendees included Julie Stokes, the Founder of Winston’s Wish and Robert Lapraik, Trustee at the charity.

Catherine Ind, Chief Executive at Winston’s Wish says “It is an absolute honour to have our Young Ambassadors spreading the word about Winston’s Wish and the work that we do with bereaved children, young people and their families, across the country.

They attend events, give talks and represent Winston’s Wish on so many levels, we wanted to celebrate and thank them sincerely by holding this special launch event in London. This is also the first time that our Young Ambassadors have all been together in one location so it has been a really meaningful occasion.”
