On the trail of pilot Denis Hall

ON August, 30, 1941, a Royal Air Force Boulton Paul Defiant crashed in The Lammermuir Hills, Scotland.

On board the aircraft was Sergeant (Pilot), Denis Winton Hall, Service No. 1168705, age 21, son of Robert William and Pansy Hall, of Lancing.
