Out of this world fun for children
Children at the Busy Bees Sutherland House nursery, in Russell Way, had a blast when they took part in space-themed activities to celebrate World Space Week.
The theme was Exploring Mars, Discovering Earth. The youngsters used bottles to create space rockets, made glowing space ships, pictures and aliens. Nursery manager Zara Burford said: “ This week has given us a great opportunity to introduce some of the fun elements of science and to encourage our little ones to explore their environment.”
